THE CULTURE OF QUEER: A Tribute to J.B. Harter
May 2, 2006
Leslie / Lohman Gay Art Foundation (LLGAF)
Moved to a new street level gallery in Soho. The newly renovated 3600 sq. ft. space houses a specular gallery, new office area, work area and storage. The first exhibition in the new gallery was The Culture of Queer: A Tribute to J.B. Harter, which originally opened in New Orleans at the Contemporary Arts Center but closed due to hurricane Katrina. Because of the size of the show it actually took place at the two spaces for LLGAF, the new gallery at 26 Wooster Street and the old gallery at 127B Prince Street.
