R.D. Riccoboni

The men I portray so tenderly are my friends or composites of my friends. Many are now spirits, but I can touch them when I paint.

R.D. Riccoboni was born in Fresno California in 1960 and raised in suburban Connecticut. He is now resides in San Diego California.

Riccoboni's current work explodes with vibrant color. The brushwork is clearly visible. He says, "I want people to...feel the fire and passion for the simple everyday things we tend to forget." These six paintings created for this show speak directly to us through their energy, vibrance, and passion for life lived sweetly from moment to moment.
