Dork Peckerson

Salvador Duke Ferrer, AKA Dork Peckerson, was born into a wealthy family in El Salvador in December 1933. His family sent him to New York at age 15 to finish prep school and attend college. He attended Columbia, then went on to several jobs in interior design before striking out on his own to paint, and generally raise hell!

His work included porn with a sense of humor on the one hand, very grounded in the 50s and 60s, and vibrant floral and food still life's on the other.

Salvador returned to San Salvador in 1997, where he set about renovating both the family home in San Salvador and the "hacienda" in Santa Tecia.

He left his erotic art portfolio with a friend in New York, fearing confiscation, or worse, the corrupt police; it has found its way to the Leslie/Lohman Gallery.

Should anyone care to view the entire portfolio...80+ pieces...with an eye toward possible purchase, the Gallery will be happy to accommodate.
