Monday, May 5
Arrival to Milano Malpensa airport and transfer by private bus to Villa Medici Giulini, in Biosco, a little village in the Brianza region. This villa, former residence of a cardinal and dating back to the Medici family, is famous for its splendid garden and its precious collection of musical instruments. Check-in and departure for Bellaggio, the most romantic little town of Lake Como. Visit the glorious Villa Melzi d’Eril, famous for its garden overlooking the lake, followed by lunch at a local trattoria, “da Florence”. In the afternoon guests will go by boat to the opposite side of the lake to visit Villa Carlotta. Built in the 1700, this villa is known for the great variety of flowers and plants growing in its splendid garden.
Back to Bellaggio by boat and dinner at “La Taverna degli Artisti”, former stable of Villa Borromeo.
Overnight at Villa Giulini. Tuesday, May 6
After buffet breakfast, guests will depart by private transportation for Sala Comacina, on Lake Como and then by boat, will continue to Lenno to visit the legendary Villa Barbianello, featured in many movies, the last of them ”Casino Royal”. Lunch on the lake shore at La Tirlindana restaurant.
Afternoon shopping opportunity at the elegant designers store, famous for silk, the very special trade in Como. Late afternoon visit to Villa d’Este, nowadays one of the most sophisticated hotels in Europe.
Return to Briosco for dinner and overnight at Villa Giulini. Wednesday, May 7
After buffet breakfast, guests will be transferred by private transportation to Lake Maggiore, following the scenic coast road. By boat guests will arrive at Isola Bella, the beautiful island, part of the Borromeo family estate and famous for its Italian Style gardens. Lunch in Stresa along the lakes elegant promenade built in the 1800's. In the afternoon stop to visit Oleggio Castle, the mansion of Marquis Cassiano del Pozzo d’Annone, who will host a reception in his palace.
Return to Briosco for dinner, a concert and overnight at Villa Giolini.
Thursday, May 8
After buffet breakfast, departure for Varese Lake to visit Villa Cicogna-Mozzoni in Bisuschio, famous for the huge Italian style garden with fountains and grotto. The young Count Cicogna-Mozzoni, a Jazz musician, will conduct the tour. Lunch in a former mill which has become a fashionable restaurant. Afternoon visit to Villa Della Porta Bozzoli, in Calzuigno, a most exquisite example of Baroque architecture, with terraces and gardens, fountains and sculptures. Dinner al fresco, in Cremago at restaurant “La Vignetta”.

Friday, May 9
After buffet breakfast, departure for Lake Garda, with a stop in Tirano, Valtellina, for lunch and wine tasting at the residence of Counts Sertoli Salis. Guests will have the opportunity of visiting the splendid Baroque Palace designed by architect Vignola, home of the Salis family since the 1600’s. Afternoon departure for Sirmione, a most romantic town that dates back to Roman times and famous for the Roman baths. The passengers will be accommodated in 5 star Grand Hotel delle Terme. Before dinner the guests could enjoy the thermal bath, including a hot spring pool. Dinner at the hotel on the terrace overlooking Lake Garda.
Overnight at the hotel. Saturday, May 10
After buffet breakfast, visit the charming town of Sirmione or take a boat ride. Lunch on the splendid terrace of 5 star hotel Villa Cortina, surrounded by the most exotic park.
Afternoon departure for Venice and arrival around dinner time. Check-in 4 star Hotel Dona' Palace, a former private residence of the aristocratic Dona' family.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Sunday, May 11
After buffet breakfast, YOU DO WHAT YOU LIKE! Venice is full of opportunities: visiting exhibitions, artist studios, etc. I suggest a guided visit of the reconstructed La Fenice Opera House and dinner at I Gondolier restaurant.
Monday, May 12
After buffet breakfast, private guided visit of the oldest glass factory in Murano where guests will be transfered by private boat. Stroll the vibrant island and lunch. Free afternoon and evening.
Overnight at the hotel. Tuesday, May 13
After buffet breakfast departure for the airport to return to the USA.
