HOW TO...
|
__________________________ We are often asked how does one submit work to the Museum for review also, how to donate art and monies, articles for publication in our journal, The ARCHIVE, volunteering and membership, hence this page. The following guidelines should be followed to ensure proper lead time and timeliness in dealing with reviews, proposals and donations with the Museum. The Museum appreciates your interest and sincerity in all of these matters. |
THE FOUNDATION reviews artists work for upcoming open shows and encourages artists to submit work for inclusion in them. Please note that we do NOT do individual critiques of submissions. The Director and/or curators/judges for upcoming open shows pick work based upon originality, integrity and awareness of lesbian and gay issues of sexuality and basic human rights in contemporary society. Work by both gay male and lesbians are accepted, as well as, art by straight artists if it is pertinent to the purview of the Museum. Watch for the OPEN CALL on our website for these shows. Please see our Mission Statement and background information for a more complete understanding and appreciation of LLM's position. |
