David Jarrett
American, photographer

Jarrett's interest in photography began at the University of Colorado but upon graduation he went into investment business. In the early 1980s he began doing photographic work for Out World, In Touch, Mandate, and Blue Boy, among others. Retired from the world of finance, he does his photographic work in New York City, Provincetown, and South Beach.

An illustrated article on Jarrett's photography appeared in the spring 2008 Leslie/Lohman Gay art Foundation Archive quarterly journal entitled Blink of An Eye: the Photographic Art of David Jarrett [page 13].

One of his photographs is illustrated in Treasures of Gay Art from the Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Foundation, page 203.
